Work's been a bitch.
Anyway, managed to sneak out to the hills beyond Shimla,
to a resort a few kms short of Naldhera, last weekend. Was meant to be a
relaxation trip for an overworked Pady on her birthday.
Didn't quite live upto expectations but was still a
much needed break.
Headed over to Tattapaani via Naldhera on Sunday.
Was a 3 day affair, with someone stealing petrol
from the bike in anticipation of the Monday nationwide petrol pump strike. As a
result , had to roll down the switched off bike for most part of the journey
from Shimla upto Kalka to conserve petrol. It hit reserve, just as I crossed
shimla. Finally managed to beg and get a litre odd of petrol from a 3
wheelerwallah and a yezdi owner in Kalka.
